Cross4Life
Ride Strong – Live Free
Cross4Life is much more than a „traditional‟ cyclocross event. It is a statement that we unfortunately cannot take freedom for granted.
For many, cycling represents freedom – you decide where to ride, how long, how fast, when, and with whom. It is an expression of nearly ultimate freedom.
In these times, we live with uncertainties that our children have never experienced before – uncertainties that we others have not faced since the height of the Cold War. Just a few thousand kilometers from the European cyclocross scene, a war is being fought that we have not seen since World War II. A war in which Ukraine fights for the Western values of freedom and democracy that Russia and its president, Putin, disdain.
Cross4Life is organized in collaboration with the NGO Bevar Ukraine, which actively helps with the execution of the event. In 2025, we raised 22,069 DKK.
Organization
Cross4Life is organized by the cycling clubs Ulkestrup CC and Holte MTB Club in close collaboration with Ole Egeblad (SponsorCom). Ole Egeblad is the race director and overall responsible.
The humanitarian relief organization Save Ukraine is a co-organizer and receives one-third of the sponsorships. Save Ukraine is also responsible for the sale of coffee, hot cocoa, and beer & water – all proceeds go to Ukraine since the “ingredients” are mainly sponsored.
